Nordcad's Seminar Returns in 2025

Save the date. It's time once again for Nordcad's highly anticipated seminar for everyone in the electronics development industry. For the first time, we will be hosting the seminar in Copenhagen, where electronic design and development will have our full attention for 2 days.

We guarantee a strong line-up of unique presentations featuring the latest trends, methods, and technologies. You'll have the opportunity to network with other participants, speakers, partners from companies such as Cadence, and of course, the Nordcad team.

Seminar registration

Here is a summary of the practical details for the seminar.

  • A ticket for the seminar costs 690 EUR.
  • This year, we have the pleasure of being at Kosmopol's historic venue – just 50 meters from Nørreport Station.
  • We will, of course, provide catering. During the seminar, on March 26th and 27th, you will be treated to breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks (cake and fruit). There will also be hot and cold drinks available.
  • On the evening of the 26th, a pleasant dinner will be held with entertainment, networking, and a goodie bag.

    * Upon registration, you accept Nordcad's conditions of use and privacy policy. Please note that you will automatically be subscribed to our mailing list, Nordcad Insights, for ongoing updates regarding the seminar.

Absolutely not a waste of time

“The combination of the information and the technical level (how easy it was to follow) made it an exhausting event, but that's a good thing. That way, I don’t feel like I’ve wasted my time.”

    Difficult to choose between sessions

“There were almost too many interesting presentations. At times, I found it hard to choose which session to attend.”

    Direct input from Cadence

“It was a great privilege to both receive and provide input directly to people from Cadence. I left with new, useful knowledge and a better understanding of the tools I use every day.”

2 whole days dedicated to electronics development

While we work hard to finalize the program, you can already get an overview of the main topics for the seminar.

Schematic and Analog Mixed Mode Simulation

Many new features have been launched in OrCAD X Capture and PSpice, aimed at ensuring more reliable electronics.

We will present various solution models for handling the supply chain and conduct several what-if analyses that you can apply to your designs.

    SI/PI and Thermal Simulation

All electronics should ideally work on the first attempt, and even many years of experience can fall short when all possible sources of error are combined.

We will present quick methods that everyone can use to minimize SI/PI problems. See how you and your team can easily implement simple analyses without significant time investment to reduce the risk of errors. We will also discuss how thermal analysis increases the durability of electronics.

    PCB Design

Whether designing complex PCB designs or simpler ones, you will gain insights into the latest technologies and how it is possible to build an efficient PCB design flow at the seminar.

We also focus on AI and the importance of checks in the early stages of the PCB design process.

    Visions of the Future

We dedicate a track of presentations to looking ahead. Here you can learn more about automation in the design process and how tools like AI can assist in the development phase.

We discuss the future all-in-one platform, where you can perform schematic design, reliability, MTBF analysis, floorplanning, and a variety of other analyses in one integrated environment.

Antenna and RF Design with AWR

With IoT, drones, and virtually all technology today, there is a need for communication - and thus antennas. The analysis tools in AWR Microwave Office make it easy and quick to design and adjust parameters so that the antennas meet the application's needs.

You will also hear about and see how RF amplifiers are built and analyzed to minimize the number of prototypes.
